Asus reveals ZenBook 3

There are many different kinds of notebooks out there in the market to choose from, so it can be quite a dizzy experience if you are new to this kind of stuff, and would like to have a little bit of help. Of course, reviews are pretty useful if they happen to be unbiased and impartial, but more often than not, everyone has a favorite brand that they would like to stick to. The folks over at Asus have done pretty well for themselves in the world of notebooks before, with their Zenbook series, and this time around at Computex 2016 that is happening in Taiwan, Asus has revealed their next-generation ZenBook model that will be known as the ZenBook 3.

The ZenBook 3 comes across as a completely redesigned device, sporting a gorgeous, ultra-sleek 11.9mm chassis which will tip the scales at all of just 910 grams. In order to achieve such an amazing lightness without compromising strength, the ZenBook 3 has been crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, which is a kind of premium material that is 50% stronger compared to the standard alloy used in laptops. Not only being strong and light, this material is also supremely elegant and features the signature ZenBook spun-metal finish.

One can pick the ZenBook 3 a trio of exclusive colors, namely Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Grey, and you might be interested to know that a special 2-phase anodizing process is used to create stunning golden highlights on the diamond-cut edges. The ZenBook 3 is no slouch when it comes to performance either, with the ability to carry up to an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of 2133MHz RAM, up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD, a next-gen USB Type-C port, and powerful quad-speaker audio by Harman Kardon. Your eyes will appreciate the high-resolution 12.5-inch display which sports a wide 72% NTSC color gamut and has an edge-to-edge covering of tough, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Not only that, it has the ability to run for up to 9 hours where all-day computing is concerned, and takes just 49 minutes to charge its battery up to 60% capacity. Any takers?
