Booq unveils new Slimsuit 13 for MacBooks

There is nothing quite like having the feeling of owning your very first notebook – and for some of us, even more so if that notebook happens to be an Apple device, which would be one of the MacBook models. These are great looking notebooks, and it would be even better if you were to be able to offer a certain degree of protection for them. Hence, if you are a proud owner of the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro Retina, Booq has something special for you in the form of the spanking new Slimsuit 13.

The team over at booq, who happen to be designers of stylishly functional laptop bags, backpacks and carrying cases for creative professionals, have decided to roll out their most recent line of defence for the 13-inch MacBook Air/Pro retina, calling it the Slimsuit 13 for obvious reasons. It sports a slim profile that makes it perfect for comfortable commuting and working on-the-go, and yet has a zipperless magnetic closure that can open easily for quick access. The Slimsuit 13 will not cost a bomb either, where it has an asking price of $40 a pop.

Just how lightweight is the booq Slimsuit 13? Well, we are talking about it adding a mere 0.6 lbs to the amount of weight that you need to carry, making it really ideal for those who would like to minimize the amount of bulk and weight that they bring around, which is perfect for folks who cover tradeshows and showfloors for hours on end. The sleeve’s polyurethane exterior would boast of a durable, all-welded design, evoking a stealthy, modern style and a zipperless magnetic closure, enabling carriers to quickly slide their 13” MacBook Air/Pro retina in or out of the sleeve. There is also an exterior design that protects laptops from everyday bumps and scratches, while the interior’s ultra-soft microfiber offers an added layer of protection, safeguarding MacBooks from scratches.
