Weather Station Security Camera tells you more than how it is outside

by

Some of us happen to be blessed enough to live in a place where the weather is stable – year in and year out. In fact, there really isn’t any need to look up the weather channel or weather report as to how the temperature will be like tomorrow, since you already know what the minimum and maximum levels will be like. Having said that, those of us who live in cities might prefer to have a peek at what the weather station offers, just in case there is a wayward day that requires an umbrella due to an unexpected rainstorm. Enter the $149.95 Weather Station Security Camera, which will not only tell you how it is like out there, it will also boast of an integrated surveillance camera.

This is a Hammacher Schlemmer exclusive, where the unit, whenever it senses motion, will allow its hidden camera to kick off recording 1080p HD video complete with audio to boot. The camera itself is able to save up to 3.5 hours of video to a microSD card up to 32GB (not included), and you can then check out the footage for viewing via the included USB cable. The camera will record continuously, automatically overwriting old content whenever the memory card is full, although there is an option to operate it manually if you so desire. In its day job, accurate weather data will be shown on a backlit 5″ LCD screen that displays time, date, indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, weather forecast, and moon phase with easy-to-view characters and icons.
