The CoWatch was built to make life easier
Wearable technology is a pretty big industry right now, and if you’re interested, you have to wade through a swamp of choices that range from awesome to terrible. While you want the most bang for your buck, you also have to take how it looks into account, as something you’re going to wear every day is going to factor in to your style. While there are tons of options already on the market, it wouldn’t be a proper Monday if there wasn’t a new and improved version on a crowdfunding site.
After you’ve read about smartwatches enough, you come to expect some measure of fitness tracking, customizable features, and app integration. The CoWatch has all of that, is affordable, and will work with Alexa, Amazon’s voice-recognition software. This houses a dual-core processor (1.2GHz), 1GB RAM, 8GB of memory, and has a battery that will last for around 32 hours in always-on mode.
This will play nicely with iOS and Android alike, and thanks to Alexa integration you’ll be able to do everything from controlling your smart home to ordering an Uber. You’ll be able to get this in either carbon black or mineral silver stainless steel, and there are similarly colored metal bands and ink black, dark coffee, or charcoal grey leather bands to choose from as well. You can pay $208 to get a watch and two bands, or you can pay $310 and get two watches for you and a friend.
