LiftMaster introduces the new Mini Universal Remote Control

When it comes to remote controls, you can be sure that the modern home does come with a fair number of such devices. After all, just about everything has its own remote in this day and age, and with that, as the number of appliances in your living room start to multiply, this would also translate to having more and more remote controls to take care of. I know that there has been a fair amount of universal remote controls in the past that intend to control everything with just one remote, including smartphones with the right app, so what is one more to the mix? LiftMaster has just announced their spanking new Mini Universal Remote Control, which will boast of a compact keychain design and is compatible with most major brands of garage door openers. Not quite the regular universal remote control that one would have thought of, right?

Tipping the scales at all of just 1.6 ounces, this particular remote has been designed to cater to active homeowners as it delivers a convenient and secure method for household members and trusted guests to enter the home without sharing access codes or housekeys.

LiftMaster happens to be the top brand of professionally installed residential garage door openers, and their Model 8550W (which can be seen above) happens to be the Industry’s first Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener with built-in MyQ technology. Such integrated technology enables users to open, close or monitor their garage door regardless of where they are, and what time it is, via the free MyQ app. Apart from that, there is also the Model 8355, which delivers energy efficient performance and is equipped with the Motor Vibration Isolation System (MVIS) to provide quiet and smooth operation. After all, the last thing you would like to do after a particularly difficult day at the office is to return home as it pours outside, only to manually open the garage door and get drenched in the process.
