iStand Smart HUB power dock set to hit the market

by

There are many different kinds of docks for our plethora of mobile devices that we have seen in the past, and it does not look as though this particular market niche is about to close down anytime soon. There is one more model that has just hit the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, where it will be known as the iStand Smart HUB power dock.

The manufacturer would be iStand, which happens to be a technology start-up company that focuses on “vogue technology”, and the Kickstarter campaign on which the iStand Smart HUB power dock is on would have a funding goal of $30,000. This is not any other normal power dock, but rather, it will feature plenty of innovation in the mix. First of all, any product that functions well but lacks the kind of aesthetically pleasing image will not do in this day and age, and thankfully, the iStand Smart HUB comes across as a beautifully designed multi-function USB-C charging dock for iPhones and Apple Watches, and not only that, it will also be compatible with the new MacBook, Kindle, iPad, in addition to the different kinds of USB enabled devices.

Not only that, it also happens to be the first of its kind to have the Apple Watch dock incorporated into the actual design, where it makes use of the similar magnetic technology as the Apple Watch charging cable. The iStand team has specially designed the Smart HUB in order to match the elegant look of Apple products, and at the same time simultaneously solving the USB-C power delivery problem.

The iStand will boast of a USB-C Smart Hub that easily converts into three USB 3.0 ports, a trio of integrated USB ports, an SD memory card reader and a Micro SD memory card slot. Being small and powerful, it can fit into the palm of a hand, and will play nice with the iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPad Pro, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, and Apple Watch Edition.
