The Maxi Climber makes you very aware of your weight
When working out, the main reason for the blood, sweat, and tears is usually to trim and tone our bodies. While we can’t bench our own body weight from the get go, the ideal is that we will eventually be able to toss a car across a city skyline. It’s going to take quite a bit of work to get to that point though, and you’ll need to do more than simply use an elliptical and curl 5 pound weights three times a week.
If you want to really make you hate yourself while also working on sick gains, then this Maxi Climber will do both nicely. This is a vertical climber that imitates the motions for rock climbing, but makes you pull and push all of your own weight. There’s no adjustable tensions or difficulty levels, it’s just you, working your way up to being able to support yourself. You will want to be mindful of your posture while climbing, as just about anything can throw your body out of whack.
This will only support up to 240 pounds, meaning you’ll have to find other means of slimming down before sinking money into this if you are above that number. It does fold away quickly and easily, so storage shouldn’t be as bad as keeping an elliptical at home. This is a $199.99 purchase, and it will certainly be useful for a long time as you’re not likely to master this machine too quickly.
