Archos has new Oxygen tablets ready for MWC 2016 debut
With Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 being less than a week away, you know for sure that there will be plenty of new devices that are ready and waiting in the wings to be unleashed unto the masses. With notable names like Samsung, LG, Huawei and Sony being there, does this mean that there is no more room for growth among the less popular names? Not really, as Archos can attest, with their plans for a new Oxygen branded smartphone being prepared for a MWC 2016. Not only that, we have also received word that other new devices under the Oxygen brand will also make an appearance some time next week – and this will comprise of not one or two, but three new Oxygen tablets.
These Oxygen tablets from Archos will come with brilliant High Definition displays, sleek design and pack a powerful performance – all without having to break the bank, of course. They will no doubt be the three most technologically advanced tablets from the company – the Archos 70 Oxygen, Archos 80 Oxygen and Archos 101b Oxygen, which will all arrive in an elegant design that is easy on the eyes and accompanied by prices which will be light on your pockets as well.
Boasting of a sleek aluminum back casing, Archos’ new Oxygen tablets will arrive in a trio of display sizes as you can tell by their name – 7”, 8” and 10.1”, and every single one of them will offer crisp images in full HD with a visually striking IPS screen. Specially designed for extended use, the Archos 80 Oxygen will pack a 4500 mAh battery, with the Archos 101b Oxygen arriving with a 6000 mAh unit, making them ideal for watching TV shows and movies.
Performance is not an issue, thanks to a combination of MTK8163 quad-core processor with processing speeds of 1.3 GHz and 2GB of RAM, while running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the operating system version of choice. Expect these tablets to hit the market some time later this May for $99.99, $129.99 and $139.99 for the Archos 70 Oxygen, Archos 80 Oxygen and Archos 101b Oxygen, respectively.
