The ROCCAT Ryos MK FX Keyboard has style for the skilled gamer
When you enjoy playing video games that require you to have a quick reaction time, you’ll notice if it’s your skill or hardware that are affecting your gameplay. Not having a mouse that can move as precisely as you do or a keyboard that can register your keystrokes fast enough are going to affect your win-loss streak. To combat this, you should probably look into getting some better hardware, and if you’re going to go all out on some expensive new gear, you may as well get the stuff that looks cool too.
While Roccat has made plenty of awesome gear for gamers, they’re certainly not sitting on their hands in regards to churning out more. We’ve seen the Ryos MK Keyboard, but now there’s the MK FX, which is still a mechanical keyboard, but this time comes with per-key illumination. It has 3 thumb keys and 5 macro keys for a total of 94 programmable keys. This uses Cherry MX switches that have advanced anti-ghosting with n-key rollover.
This will work with Windows 7, 8, and 10, and you’ll need 2 USB ports to use it. It uses Easy-Shift [+] technology, which lets you switch between key mapping for different games so you aren’t stuck reassigning keys every time you want to switch up what you’re playing. There’s also support for AlienFX, meaning you can add a light show to your favorite games. This is a $169.99 purchase that is not for the faint of wallet, but it will make your rig look amazing when the lights are off.
