Casio introduces new S Series Heathered Collection

by

Telling the time used to be something that everyone did with a wristwatch – although times have changed a whole lot, so much so that many people these days apparently prefer to make use of their smartphones or tablets to get the job done. Does this mean that watches are out of vogue, and are worn only during special events? Not really, and a name that has long been associated with tough timepieces (the G-Shock series, anyone?) is back – with Casio introducing their spanking new S Series Heathered Collection which will also function as the perfect accessory to jump start your health and fitness New Year’s resolutions.

Basically, the S Series Heathered collection will arrive in a quartet of colors – orange, purple, white, and green, where each of them has been inspired by heathered pattern sportswear. The timepieces will also come with an interwoven speckled pattern, which evokes memories of a sporty heathered sweat suit, while the unique textured look is able to complement a modern woman’s workout attire in a jiffy.

The S Series range will uplift the G-SHOCK brand into the contemporary fashion space where the female consumer is concerned, especially those who happen to have a penchant for G-SHOCK watches, and yet are shy in wearing them because they may be too large for her wrist. G-SHOCK will continue in its tradition of offering brilliant technical innovations via the S-Series, albeit extending itself into offering timepieces as a sporty fashion accessory in this day and age. Each timepiece will come equipped with an auto LED light with afterglow, 5 daily alarms, an hourly time signal, 1/1000 second stopwatch, countdown timer, world time with 29 time zones and are shock resistant and water resistant to 200M.

Expect the S Series collection to retail for $160.00 a pop if you are interested in picking one up for yourself.
