Casio welcomes the winter with new G-Shock timepieces

Casio does not only do calculators, as their one other very famous export would be watches – specifically the G-Shock range that comes with its fair share of toughness levels, ensuring that it can endure any kind of punishing regime you put it through – save from being sliced into half by a lightsaber, of course. Well, Casio has ushered in this winter with new G-Shock timepieces across a couple of two categories: first of all, a triple threat, eye-catching Master of G Black x Gold series as well as a couple of new Basel Special Limited Editions, which would be the MTGG1000BS-1A – Aged IP and the MTGG1000GB-1A – DLC.

All three timepieces within the Master of G Black x Gold series are the GRAVITYMASTER GPW1000GB-1A, MUDMASTER GWG1000GB-1A, and GULFMASTER GWN1000GB-1A, where they sport a common large bezel and watch face, although each of them has been strategically designed for the discerning consumer. Not only that, shared features include unparalleled shock resistance, 200M water resistance, World Time, countdown timer, daily alarm and day/date display.

As for the GPW1000GB-1A timepiece which comes with a whopping $1,000 price tag, that model will boast added features such as GPS Atomic Solar Hybrid technology, latitude indicator, 1/20th Sec. stopwatch, airplane mode, full auto LED (Super Illuminator) light in a 56.0mm case.

The $800 GWG1000GB-1A will come with a new Mud-Resistant structure, Triple Sensor technology (for measuring direction, altitude, barometric pressure and temperature), 1/100th second stopwatch,, full auto double LED (super illuminator) lights, Neo-Brite luminous hands & markers, and 5 daily alarms, all in a 56.1mm case.

As for the $550 GWN1000GB-1A, this model sports Triple Sensor technology albeit with a barometric pressure alarm that can alert one to sudden drops in air pressure in addition to tide indicator and moon age data. Full auto double LED (super illuminator) lights, 1/100th second stopwatch, and 12/24 Hr formats make up the rest of the watch’s capabilities, crammed into a 55.8mm case.

The Master of G Black x Gold series will be available from this month onward via select department stores, fashion boutiques, key jewelers and the G-SHOCK NYC Soho store.
