LG set to light up CES 2016 with new displays and monitors
It goes without saying that computers happen to play a major role in our lives – be it at home or at the office, it does not matter. Having said that, it is no surprise at all that LG would want to reveal a new range of products at the upcoming CES 2016, where this new lineup of products will enable consumers to enjoy more freedom so that they can customize their growing needs for work and play. CES 2016 will also be the platform where LG showcases their latest collection of 21:9 UltraWide monitors, 4K monitors and gram laptops, which have been specially designed to ensure maximum productivity and entertainment for today’s demanding power users.
The LG gram 15 would be one of the lightest 15-inch laptops in the world, where it will feature an immersive 15.6-inch screen, and has been specially built to be durable without sacrificing on its weight of a mere 980 grams. Hence, it is no surprise if we see busy professionals make the LG gram 15 as their laptop of choice when they hit the road, or students who need one less heavy item to tote around after all of their backbreaking textbooks have been packed.
Apart from that, there will be the latest 21:9 UltraWide monitors that will include the curved UC98, and the entire family of 2016 UltraWide Monitors will come with LG’s proprietary picture quality enhancing IPS display technology and streamlined features for easy multi-tasking. Digital media professionals will find the QHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels) on the curved UC98 and flat UM88 series to be indispensable, alongside the inclusion of Thunderbolt 2, making it a feature that professionals who work with large video and image files are unable to do without.
Apart from those, there will also be LG’s 2016 collection of 4K Ultra HD Monitors that will include the UD88 and UD68 series, with the 27-inch UD88 monitor (also available in a 32-inch model ) being specially designed for creative professionals featuring the latest USB Type C port technology. Pricing details should be announced when CES 2016 arrives, so stay tuned!
