Bamboo Spark bridges the gap between ideas on paper and the digital world
When I was growing up, any idea or thought was drawn or written out on paper. You get used to smell, texture, and movements associated with drawing on a sheet of paper, so it was hard to transition to the digital world when you love doing things the old fashioned way, even if it takes twice as long. If you’ve ever wished you could do things the way you wanted without having to cause yourself more hassle, then this is the time to be alive.
We know how important it is to make yourself comfortable when working creatively, which is why Wacom created the Bamboo Spark. This is a smart folio with a smart ballpoint pen that has room for whatever type of paper you like that will fit inside. You can write anything and everything down by hand, and it will save everything locally on or the cloud so you can get to those notes and edit them at a later time.
Of course, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got the right one for your situation should you be interested, as there are three different versions of this. There is a smart folio with a pocket for your phone, one with a tablet sleeve, and the last is designed specifically to house the iPad Air 2. Being able to make up to 100 pages of notes that will save automatically in the way you feel most comfortable, and getting to access them no matter where you are is certainly a big deal, but getting to share handwritten notes on a digital platform will change the way many people work. The Spark isn’t available just yet, but is said to cost $159.95.
