Canon EOS M3 delivers performance in a compact package

by

Canon is certainly a name that many of us are more than familiar with, especially when it comes to the world of digital cameras. After all, they have been there for a long, long time, and it does not look as though they are going to give it a miss anytime soon. Having said that, Canon’s range of digital cameras is an impressive one, and from the Canon EOS M that we saw released in 2012, here we are three years down the road with the Canon EOS M3 that is also a continuation of the mirrorless revolution.

The Canon EOS M3 happens to be a compact and stylish interchangeable lens digital camera that has been specially created for enthusiast photographers who demand premium performance. It will bring together Canon’s outstanding image quality alongside DSLR-levels of control in a small and lightweight camera body, which would then enable the EOS M3 camera to be able to capture those all important moments in outstanding detail without missing a beat.

Right smack in the middle of it all lies Canon’s high-resolution 24.2 megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor alongside its most advanced image processor, the famous DIGIC 6. These two elements will work hand in hand in order to deliver premium quality stills and Full HD videos as and when required. When you merge that with an extremely fast AF performance courtesy of the new 49-point Hybrid CMOS AF III Autofocus System, you can be sure that you would have obtained the freedom to capture the beauty of movement.

Advanced photographers will not be at a loss, since they should be able to find all that they need at their fingertips, thanks to intuitive DSLR-like dials and control, in addition to being able to take advantage of over 80 Canon EF, EF-S and EF-M interchangeable lenses. The Canon EOS M3 will also come with Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC support, where it is tipped to arrive later this October for $679.99. You can pick up an EOS M3 EF-M 18-55mm IS STM lens kit in either black or white shades for $120 more, while a two lens kit featuring the EOS M3 digital camera with the EF-M 18-55mm IS STM lens and the EF-M 55-200mm IS STM lens will be going for $1,049.00.
