New Nextbook 10 2-in-1 tablet with Windows 8.1 announced

It looks like having a hybrid device these days makes plenty of sense – you more or less get the best of both worlds, so to speak. Say you would like a notebook, and yet do not want to handle the weight while enjoying the benefits of a tablet? E FUN has rolled out its Windows 8-powered Nextbooks in the past, and this time around, there is the new Nextbook 10 2-in-1 tablet that will run on Windows 8.1 right out of the box, now how about that?

The new Nextbook 10 2-in-1 tablet will be a lightweight device that will feature not only a touchscreen, but also a detachable POGO keyboard. In other words, it will be able to provide users with the right amount of fun as well as the mobility of a tablet, all the while ensuring that one gets to enjoy the ease-of-use of a laptop or notebook, too. Each purchase comes with incredible value to boot, since the device itself will feature a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal with 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage for one year, as well as 60 Skype world minutes each month for an entire year. Even better yet, one will be able to perform an upgrade to Windows 10 for free from July 29 onward.

The new Nextbook 10 will be jam packed with many features which have been designed for students, professionals and the entire family, where among them include a quad-core Intel AtomTM Z3735G processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory that can be further augmented through a microSD memory card slot, a 1280 x 800 IPS display that works great for reading, working, watching shows, and playing games, among others, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, a Micro HDMI port for content to be displayed on a larger TV screen, a Micro USB port for increased storage capacity, a 2.0 megapixel camera in front as well as another of similar resolution at the back, a 3-axis G-sensor for gaming, and a detachable keyboard that will boast of a pair of USB 2.0 ports for additional storage or to hook up external devices such as a mouse or printer.

The 3.7V 7,000mAh Lithium battery should be able to deliver up to 7 hours of general use. Those who are interested can pick up the Windows 8.1-powered Nextbook 10 for $219.99 a pop.
