The Toe Stretcher Socks – beauty is a form of torture

by

If you’ve ever tried on a pair of high heels, you know the pain and joy of taking off those shoes at the end of a long day. Your foot literally takes on the shape of the shoe, and your poor toes are squashed together. It’s fairly common to have toes that fold over one another, but wearing uncomfortable shoes exacerbates the issue. Doing this for a few years is pretty rough on your feet, and you need to take good care of them if you want them to work well into your later years.

If you want to give your feet a little TLC, but can’t afford pedicures and foot massages every other week, then you’ll want some home options that give your tootsies a break. These Toe Stretcher Socks are somewhat like compression stockings, but not medically recommended of course. Made primarily of cotton, these pastel socks go up to your knee, and have puffy separators to force space in between your toes. This will be a bit awkward to wear at first, but it should help with spreading out your toes after they’ve been mushed together.

This goes from size 23-25cm, and is available in pink, blue, or green. While the instructions are in Japanese, you shouldn’t need much help understanding how these work. The only differently colored toe separator will go by your big toe. This is going to cost you $44, and will need a bit of special care in the wash due to the fact that they’re primarily made of cotton.
