The ZipChip – pocket-sized fun
It’s nice outside, and when we’re free we want nothing more than to enjoy pleasant weather doing something fun. Flinging a Frisbee, playing baseball, or tossing a football around are excellent ways to spend your time off. However, they do require you to grab a ball, bats, and any other sort of gear you might need to play. If you don’t always have these items ready and available, it might be more convenient to have something that is small enough to fit in your pocket.
Sadly we don’t have the ability to shrink a football and restore it to normal size, but the ZipChip would be an excellent replacement for on-the-fly game sessions. It’s not even three inches wide, is only a half inch thick, and weighs less than an ounce. It may be small, but it can travel up to 200 yards. It is very similar to the Frisbee, but doesn’t take up nearly the amount of space.
The ZipChip is made from a elastomer material that is both squishy and recyclable. This also means it can float in water, so you can play while at the pool without having to dive to the bottom to retrieve it for every missed catch. There is a bit of learning you’ll have to do to understand how to throw it correctly, but since it is so closely related to the Frisbee, it shouldn’t take too much time. These are super cheap at only $7 a piece, and will be a new addition to your summertime fun routine.
