Griffin announces LightRunner LED illuminated armband
Griffin has just made an announcement concerning their latest release, which would be the LightRunner LED illuminated armband. Of course, while the LightRunner is the star attraction here, this does not mean that the remaining redesigned armbands for adidas are not worth one’s attention, although we will concentrate more on the LightRunner this time around.
It does not matter if you happen to be jamming to your favorite tunes, or would be training hard with a 5k running app, or simply would love to have one nearby just in case of an emergency, it is an undeniable fact that the smartphone has now become an integral part of any workout as you sweat all of the day’s stress away. Griffin’s LightRunner armband will not only ensure that your compatible smartphone will remain well protected from sweat, grime, and perhaps even the accidental knock during intense workout sessions, it will also boast of high visibility as a safety feature that protects runners to boot.
Griffin’s LightRunner will come with integrated flashing LED lights which will pave the way for higher visibility at night, targeting those who would like to spend their evenings strolling or to settle for a more intense run. One will be able to select from a trio of light pattern settings: continuous, repeating or flashing for enhanced visibility. Apart from that, there is also a comfortable neoprene armband which comes finished in a sculpted gTex cloth and rubber hybrid for structure and stability around a smartphone.
A touch-through window would ensure that not a single bit of the smartphone within will remain inaccessible, and built-in fingerprint scanners would work without a hitch, too. Do take note that the LightRunner will fit the likes of the iPhone 6, Galaxy S6 and other smartphones that are up to 4.7″, where its adjustable velcro closure can also be adjusted to accommodate arms up to 18”.
Those who are interested will be able to pick up the Griffin LightRunner for $39.99 apiece.
