The Hydaway – a water bottle that can fit in your pocket
How many times have you realized you’ve forgotten your water bottle at home, and ended up buying a plastic bottled water? If you travel a lot or work in a busy area, the answer is likely pretty often. We all have a knack for throwing things away and forgetting to recycle, so it’s no wonder that there are 90,000 water bottles being thrown away every minute. We like the idea of bringing a reusable water bottle with us everywhere we go, but they’re often rather bulky, and it’s easy to leave them behind.
If you wish you could have the convenience of a reusable water bottle without having to tote around a massive container, then why not get a bottle that can pack down? The Hydaway is a silicone container that is similar to the folding bucket, but was made with a mouth piece and top so water won’t go sloshing everywhere. There’s a clip for attaching it to your bag or backpack if it’s full, but when empty it can be smushed down to go in your pocket.
This watertight container can be taken apart and put on the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Available in 8 different colors, one of these compact bottles will cost you around $20. This would be perfect for those who are constantly on the go, and need to be mindful of how much they’re packing. When fully expanded, it can hold 21 ounces, though you can only expand it partially to accommodate 12 ounces if you prefer.
