The Greatest Case – a simple solution for phablet users
Smartphones seem to be getting bigger and bigger as the years press on. There will always be a huge market for cases that offer varying levels of protection, but they don’t really help with the bigger issue at hand (pun only slightly intended). These giant smartphones are really hard to hold on to, and if you want to access the far side of the screen, you have to loosen your grip on your phone almost entirely and pivot your hand to access it.
We’d all be lying if we said we haven’t gotten careless with our phones before. While the glass on them is pretty tough, our ability to muck up a several hundred dollar phone is pretty strong. While you could get an Otterbox and try to keep your phone safe from just about everything, the bulky casing makes it even more uncomfortable to use. There’s a good chance you know someone who has an Otter Box, got annoyed at how big it was and took it off, only to break their phone a week later.
If you just want a little bit more grip, then the Greatest Case is all you’re going to need. It’s very simple, and will do nothing more than give you some grip while you’re maneuvering across your screen. However, it could end up being the grip that keeps your phone in your hand rather than going on its merry way to kiss the concrete. This is a $29-39 purchase dependent on whether you’d prefer an all black or copper case, and there are options for the iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note 3, Note 4, and the Nokia 1520.
