The Halo Belt – don’t be left in the dark
There’s nothing quite so terrifying as walking by a busy road at night when no one can see you. Even if you wear bright clothing, that’s sometimes not enough to be noticed. If you want to make sure that you’re not in danger of being side-swiped or run into by a cyclist, then you’ll want to either wear reflective clothing, use lights like bicycles do, or constantly blare an air horn.
As you most likely don’t want to do the latter of those options, the Halo Belt 2.0 may be a good choice instead. If you don’t already have your heart set on wearing something a little more formal that is. This is a multi-purpose LED safety belt that is weatherproof, and will give your personage 360 degree visibility when it’s dark indoors or outside. This has two different modes where the light will either flash or stay solid, and uses rechargeable lithium ion batteries to give you up to 36 hours of illumination (flash mode only).
While this is water resistant, you cannot submerge it, so no swimming! This is adjustable thanks to the elastic in its primarily plastic and nylon construction, so it can go from a size 0 to 46. This only weighs 4.4 ounces even with the battery, so you won’t be weighed down while you’re running or walking long distances. This version will cost you $39.99, though there is a smaller version available for $29.99. Both will give you the option for red, green, or blue LED lights.
