Ring is a Wi-Fi Enabled Video Doorbell that you can answer anywhere in the world
When the doorbell rings and you aren’t expecting company, you can’t really know who to expect. It could be a salesperson trying to get you to buy a vacuum, someone trying to convert you to their religion, or the police (hopefully it’s never the police). If you’d prefer to screen who comes to your porch without having to answer immediately, it would be nice to have a sort of caller ID. However, you’ll need some equipment to make that happen.
The Ring is a Wi-Fi Enabled Video Doorbell that will let you know whenever someone comes to your door. By pressing the button, all of your connected devices will alert you. From there, you can choose whether or not to answer, and will get a live video feed if you pick up. This is easy to install, as you only need to place the mounting bracket, and set in screw to make sure it’s a little bit more difficult to try and steal.
This can stand up against humidity, rain, sleet, snow, ice, and extreme heat. While it does recharge via Micro USB, it can go for up to a year before you need to recharge it. If you want to be alerted if someone is on your doorstep when they shouldn’t be, you can set this up to let you know when there’s movement. This is of course a pricey purchase that will come to $199.99 should you have a need to answer the door before you actually go to the door. You will of course need a tablet or smartphone that can pair with this to be able to use it properly.
