HTC Desire EYE announced

At one point in time, it seemed as though HTC could do no wrong as a smartphone company, and they were riding high on the Android mobile operating system from Google. However, the company started to see a reversal in its fortunes over the passage of time, but thankfully, they managed to find their mojo back with the HTC One, and subsequently, continued their journey of recovery somewhat with the HTC One M8. Having said that, here they are with one of their latest smartphones, which they have dubbed as the HTC Desire EYE.

This will be the new high end model under the HTC Desire range, and the HTC Desire EYE is so called that simply because the Taiwanese company claims that it comes with one of the best front-facing cameras that are available on the market today, not to mention accompanied by software that ensures you look your stunning best when capturing selifes.

Just how sharp is the front facing camera? Well, we are looking at a market-leading 13MP shooter, and there will be an equivalent camera like it at the back, too, ensuring that you will be able to zoom in, crop and print without having to compromise in any way. There will be BSI sensors underneath the hood that enables it to capture crisp photos, even when one is in low-light conditions, while the intelligent dual-LED flash located on both cameras will offer flattering, natural tones as ambient light levels drop even further.

A trio of dedicated microphones will ensure that the HTC Desire EYE is capable of bringing audio quality to even greater heights, resulting in crystal clear voice and video calling. Hardware specifications include HTC BoomSound, a 5.2″ Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and 4G LTE connectivity, all crammed into a unibody chassis that is waterproof – showing the world that it does keep up with the times in terms of design. Any takers?
