Logitech Harmony Living Home range offers easy control in your home

While we might be more familiar with the different kinds of gaming peripherals that Logitech churns out from time to time (like the Logitech G910 Orion Spark RGB Mechanical Keyboard), here we are with something that is slightly different – a track off the beaten path, so to speak. I am referring to the Logitech Harmony Living Home that offers easy access as well as control over a wide library of entertainment and home automation devices, all of it within a centralized control system.

Using just a few easy steps, you will be able to use your remote, tablet or smartphone in order to control your TV, set-top box, speakers, lighting, thermostat, door locks, window shades and other kinds of popular devices. In addition, one is able to combine multiple devices into Activities so that it can trigger the moment you power on your TV, not to mention dim your lights, to adjust the temperature as well as opening your window shades – simultaneously. A single touch of your remote or mobile device will enable you to kick off an Activity, or to do so automatically on a custom schedule, or through the passing by of a sensor. Heck, one can also trigger Activities from the Harmony Mobile App whenever you are away from your house.

How is the Harmony Living Home experience made possible? Through the Logitech Harmony Home Hub, of course, where it will make use of a plethora of connectivity options such as RF, IR, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in order to relay commands from Logitech Harmony Living Home remotes or through the Harmony Mobile App over to the wide array of home entertainment and home automation devices. The Logitech Harmony Home Hub will be part of the Logitech Harmony Ultimate Home and Logitech Harmony Home Control, or you can also opt to pick it up as an individual device for $99.99 a pop.
