Samsung NX1 announced

Samsung has just announced their latest camera, which is known as the Samsung NX1, and this is no ordinary point-and-shoot camera. Heck, the Samsung NX1 does not even fall into that particular category, where it comes across as an exceptionally fast compact system camera that will target professionals sharpshooters, boasting of best in class 15FPS continuous AF shooting, a unique Auto Focus (AF) System III with 205 Phase Detection AF points and 28MP APS-C BSI CMOS Sensor and unrivaled usability.

Basically, the NX series of digital cameras (like the Samsung NX30) from Samsung have always been rather impressive in their performance and capabilities, so it is far from surprising to hear that the Samsung NX1 would follow suit. This premium camera is not only powerful but fast as well, thanks to its DRIMe V Image Processor which will deliver superior color reproduction and noise reduction, as it makes use of powerful cores for the high speed imaging which serious photographers tend to require in their line of work. Apart from that, this cutting-edge technology will also be able to support 4K UHD video recording without the need for any kind of external equipment, empowering movie makers to be able to shoot and share their inspiring stories in vivid, clean, widescreen realism.

With the aforementioned new NX AF (Auto Focus) System III with 205 Phase Detection AF points, the NX1 will redraw the boundaries of semi-professional level photography thanks to its speed, agility and focusing ability. In fact, with its world class AF speed (0.055sec), one can capture those “blink and you’ll miss it” moments, and do so in rich detail for years down the road.

The NX1 will support native ISO 100-25600 and extended ISO to 51200, which would be ideal when it comes to capturing well exposed images with less noise even when the lighting conditions are far from optimal. It sports a highly durable magnesium alloy body, and is ergonomically designed to fit into your hand comfortably. Any takers?
