Dell Inspiron 14 7000 Series targets the youth market
When it comes to high powered notebooks, there are quite a number of models out there in the market which cater to different kinds of users, ranging from those who would want nothing better than a simple computing device that would enable them to do the basic tasks, such as reading and replying e-mails to presenting a PowerPoint slide, all the way to high end gaming – but the latter category also happens to be one of the more expensive models in the market, and they are also extremely heavy to carry around. Dell has come up with their new Inspiron 14 7000 Series, which is a high-performance 14″ laptop that was specially designed and developed for youths.
While we do understand that youths do not really have a whole lot of disposable income to start off with, this does not mean that their (still) doting parents are unwilling to shell out a large chunk of money to keep their children happy. The Inspiron 14 7000 Series caters to this growing consumer segment, where it will feature the latest Intel performance processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX-class graphics chipset, and a sleek design, making it the ideal value-for-money proposition.
Being the latest member of the Inspiron 7000 Series family, it will run on the 4th Generation Intel processor with a choice of up to a quad-core Core i7 processor, 4GB of discrete memory in the NVIDIA® GeForce GTX-class performance graphics card, up to 16GB RAM and a 1TB hybrid hard drive, making it ideal for the various multi-taskers in today’s generation. Not only that, it is fully equipped with a slew of I/O ports, including HDMI, a media card reader, and three USB ports, where a USB PowerShare port is also thrown into the mix. Apart from that, those who are interested will be able to pick up an optional backlit keyboard if they so desire, and the 8.4 hours of battery life would certainly go down well with any potential suitors. Do expect to pick up the Dell Inspiron 14 7000 Series for S$1,699.
