The Smash Cup wants to save you some money, and the planet

There’s nothing wrong with drinking a lot of coffee or tea. However, you start to notice how often you’re tossing out a paper cup and plastic lid. Bringing a travel mug is helpful, but finding a place to store it during the day is a pain. While they may not be too cumbersome in the morning, they serve as a sad reminder that you’re out of your favorite beverage when empty. Only then will you find that they are bulky and awkward.
There are times you wish you could smush your mug down to a more portable size that will easily fit into your satchel or briefcase. While you likely can’t do that with the paper cup or travel mug you have at the moment, the Smash Cup can. This is a leak-proof, collapsible, and Eco-friendly cup that can be stashed as soon as you’re done with your morning fuel. It’s made of BPA-free plastic and silicone, and thanks to its material it can hold hot or cold drinks without transferring much temperature difference.
The maximum liquid capacity is 12 ounces, and to access your drink, you’ll only need to rotate the top tab 180 degrees. There are three parts to this cup which are fairly easy to take apart, and all pieces can be put into the dishwasher. You can choose from red, blue, green, orange, or pink, and purchasing one of them will cost you $15. If you’d prefer to have enough to last you through the work week without having to wash the same cup every night, then you can pay $85 to get five of them. Seeing that this might help you save a bit on “bring your own mug” discounts, it could potentially pay itself off after a year or two.
