AudioTechnica QuietPoint Headphones remove distractions from your mental oasis
There are times in the day where we need to be thinking on our feet, plowing through work and daily challenges as if there were no tomorrow. While that takes up a good portion of the day, we find respite in small moments of listening to music, watching movies, or playing games. If any of those things happen to occur while you’re on the bus, during a break, or around the public, exterior sounds can break your mental peace.
The best thing to do to block out external annoyances is to use headphones, but sometimes even that is not enough. Audio-Technica knows of this problem all too well, and created the ATH-ANC70 QuietPoint noise-canceling headphones. These are said to give you “clear, high-resolution sound, with intense bass, a detailed midrange, extended treble and accurate imaging in an immersive soundfield”.
They use memory-foam padding and 40mm drivers which should provide a 90% reduction in background sounds. If you need to take a call while using these with your phone through the 3.5mm jack, you only need to press the illuminated logo on the earcup to start chattering away. These will cost you around $199 if you are in need of a portable oasis for your mind through sound. These are rechargeable (by using rechargeable AAA batteries), and will last up to 40 hours on one go.
