The Infrared Air Guitar will let you hear your pantomime jam sessions
There’s nothing quite like rocking out to your favorite song. If you know how to play an instrument, you’re likely trying to match the notes exactly. However, there are those of us that don’t know how to play guitar. In these cases, it’s best to resort to air guitar. You can go as wild and crazy as you want, and none of the fingerings for your chords will affect how the song sounds.
If you do know how to play the notes, but don’t want to go full out on buying a guitar because you only want to play along with songs, then the Infrared Air Guitar might be just what you’re looking for. This gives you buttons that correspond with notes G-A on the fret board, and there are four buttons on the side that will distinguish major, minor, augmented, or diminished. The buttons may determine the note, but it is the infrared strings that will put out sound.
This is a neat way to play with your favorite songs, but you will need to have some understanding of how to string notes together before you can keep up with your favorite tunes. Seeing that this is only $13, it might be a good way to play around with this as a super beginners version of guitar. The sound quality probably isn’t going to be great at that price, but I highly doubt they’re marketing this to the musical professionals.
