Eyenimal – it’s a Dogs Life
Ah to be a dog… as I sit here now, watching my pooch reposing on the couch, legs in the air, snoring gently, I realize that in my next life, I’m coming back as someones beloved pet. From what I can see, it would be a great deal. Of course, there are parts of her life that I don’t see. Like what she does when I’m not home, and where she went when she took off after that squirrel…
If you have ever wondered what your fur-buddies are up to when you’re not around, you might want to check out the Eyenimal. It’s the first digital video camera in the world designed to be worn by animals. The (unfortunately named) Eynimal invites you to experience the world directly from your pet’s perspective. The camera has an 8GB flash memory and is powered via rechargeable ithium-ion battery. The Eyenimal gives you almost two and a half hours of sound and video from your pet’s adventures (or lack thereof).
This small, lightweight (around an ounce), water resistant video camera attaches securely to your pet’s collar with the included fastening clip. With the video camera safely in place, you simply press the Record button to start the recording. When you have finished recording, grab the camera, and connect it to your PC using the USB cable provided. Then, you can view the recorded video sequences directly on your computer screen. So if you’d like to know what your dog or cat is up to when you’re not watching, the Eynimal might be fun for you. Grab one at amazon.com for around 80 bucks, and don’t be surprised when you see some things you never expected.
