BLU Products announces Studio 5.0 LTE smartphone
When it comes to smartphones, there are just way too many different makes and model out there to choose from, where we have those from the entry level to the mid-range, and ultimately, on the high end side of things. BLU Products might not be as famous as the likes of Samsung, LG, HTC, Nokia and Apple, but this does not mean that they are out of touch when it comes to what users want in a smartphone. Their latest attempt happens to also be their first 4G LTE smartphone in the market, which is known as the Studio 5.0 LTE that is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The BLU Studio 5.0 LTE happens to be the first affordable unlocked 4G LTE device that intends to help deliver low cost, no contract LTE plans in the US. This particular maiden entry of theirs into the 4G LTE smartphone market would boast of a vivid 5” screen with IPS technology, a blazing fast quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.4GHz processor, alongside the ability to be able to handle 4G LTE speeds of up to 150MBps.
Samuel Ohev-Zion, CEO of BLU Products, said, “BLU is a champion of the Bring Your Own Device Movement in the USA, by helping dealers and consumers source quality devices for activations, which otherwise they would have had a very difficult time doing. Furthermore we are dedicated towards launching a wide range of 4G LTE enabled devices throughout the year, because of the increase in demand for LTE devices for prepaid and no contract carrier plans.”
The Studio 5.0 LTE sports a gorgeous minimalistic design of just 9mm, where its 5” IPS display has a pixel density of 220ppi, 1GB RAM, a microSD memory card slot, an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, HD recording at 1080p@30fps, and a front facing 1.6MP camera, all of it running on top of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. You will be able to pick up the BLU Studio 5.0 LTE in an unlocked form factor for $249.00 a pop, where you can choose from either ceramic white, neon yellow, glimmer pink or fashion orange shades.
