Acer Veriton Z2660G all-in-one (AiO) desktop announced


Acer is an old hand when it comes to rolling out desktop machines, and it does seem as though that one of their latest models would arrive in the form of the Acer Veriton Z2660G all-in-one (AiO) desktop. The Acer Veriton Z2660G would feature a 20” class LED backlit LED touchscreen display that will cater for both businesses and institutional customers in the U.S., while sporting an adjustable and modular form factor that delivers a comfortable ergonomical experience in a low-maintenance platform.

Basically, the Acer Veriton Z2660G Series AiOs will target those who need some computing power of a decent stature, and yet have to work with a limited amount of space. Expect this desktop model to leverage on Windows 8’s touch capabilities, as it offers an attractive and user-friendly computing solution for executive offices, bullpens, libraries, kiosks, and reception areas among others. Arriving in a modular, screw-less chassis that makes it extremely simple to perform an upgrade, the Acer Veriton Z2660G would find itself at home across a gamut of commercial environments.

The Acer Veriton Z2660G has a 19.5-inch LED-backlit LCD that is capable of delivering vivid, clear visuals, courtesy of the 1600 x 900 maximum HD+ resolution that has a 16:9 aspect ratio. Its ergonomic frame will tilt from 8 to 60 degrees so that your eyes will be able to enjoy an optimum viewing angle at all times, while removable feet and VESA wall mount support would allow the display to be hung on a wall in order to maximize desk space. Not only that, there is also a 2.0MP Full HD webcam which can be rotated up to 180 degrees so that it will be able to accommodate multiple participants during videoconferences, and the presence of a pair of speakers with high-definition audio would be a treat to your ears.

There will be a 4th generation Intel Core i3 processor 4130T running proceedings from within, accompanied by 16GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a couple of USB 2.0 ports as well as a VGA and DisplayPort for enabling multi-monitor setups. Expect it to retail from $779 onwards in the U.S.
