Using PhoneSoap is like sending your iPhone to a spa

by

It’s nice to take a little time for yourself every now and again by taking a long bath or going to the spa. You go in with a buildup of stress, only to come out feeling clean, relaxed, and ready to take on whatever life feels like throwing at you. While inanimate objects such as your phone can’t really get a knot in their back worked out or sit in a sauna (without some serious consequences), they do get their own form of buildup, and lose their vitality as their battery dwindles.

The PhoneSoap Charger looks rather similar to a tanning bed, but is meant for your smartphone. It is a case that you can place even the largest of phones into (even phablets!), and will get to work killing all manner of germs dancing around the surface of your mobile device. It’s a bit large, and needs to plug into the wall, so this might be better used as a desktop or bedside table companion.

If the microUSB cable included is not the correct charging cable for you, you can easily open the compartment and switch out as needed. There are ‘acoustic outlets’ on the sides so you won’t need to worry about not being able to hear incoming messages during the cleaning process. The green interior light will let you know that your phone is charging, and the blue light will let you know the UV-C lights have begun killing off germs and bacteria. To get the full effect, you’ll need to leave your phone in for about 4-5 minutes. Should you be interested, this will cost you around $50.
