Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition takes the camouflage route

by

When we were young (and I am referring to just three decades or so thereabouts, where remote controlled toys involved the use of many a D sized battery, not to mention that they tend to arrive in the form of a robot that moves around in one direction until it bumps into an obstacle, where it will then turn to a different direction, flashing eyes and a bulb on its chest with arms that move up and down. Well, remote controlled toys have come a long way since three decades ago, and one of the most recent successes can be said to be the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0. The thing is, we now have an updated version, which would be the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition that will arrive in a new ultra-modern camouflage, where you will be able to choose from Sand, Snow and Jungle models.

The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition should already have arrived in stores from this month onward, where they tout to offer even more intense flight experiences for pilots. With a trio of distinct pixilated camouflage designs to choose from, here they are in greater detail. Sand would involve a shading of brown, beige and black, allowing it to blend into the sand dunes and fly low so that gaming partners will be surprised. Since it is snowing in some parts for those of us who live in the northern hemisphere this winter, the Snow model would be perfect, as it arrives in a mix of white, grey and black. Last but not least, the classic shades of khaki and brown would make it the ideal tool for the modern explorer in an urban jungle setting.

Apart from the exterior changes, the AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition will also arrive with a set of propellers that will feature a couple of different colors for each unique model – beige and black for the Sand version, white and black for the Snow model and khaki and black for Jungle. You might balk at the $299.99 price point though.
