The World’s Best Backscratcher – Does it live up to the hype?

by

There are times when you’re sitting at your desk, minding your own business, and it suddenly feels as though a bug has bit your back, and nothing is right with the world until you’ve scratched that spot. Of course, not everyone has the ability to contort their arm behind them, so they use the nearest wall or the back of their chair to scratch that itch. That isn’t always enough to get the job done though.

Getting a back scratching stick isn’t a bad idea, but they’re terribly rigid, and can sometimes end up hurting you rather than helping. Seeing that this invention has been around for some time, you would think that someone would make a better version of this tool. Well, they did, and it’s called the Scratcher (very original, right?).

This is said to be the World’s Best Back Scratcher. Of course, the website that sells it is saying that, though it does look to be pretty decent. The stick is flexible, and the spurs on it are not terribly rigid, so you won’t have to worry about them catching on your clothes or poking you. This is also portrayed to be good for use on your calves (for circulation) or feet, but I doubt anyone is going to want to put this on their feet and then on their back. One of these will cost you around $28, and only comes in a white, green, and black combination.

No, it’s terrible. Broke in the middle just after a short while with me. I didn’t pressure that hard. :(

All I know is there have been 2 distinct periods of my life.
The life I had BEFORE I got a back scratcher, and the life I’ve led since getting a scratcher. I can’t even imagine living without one anymore!
I only spent $1 on mine at a dollar store though. No desire to upgrade anytime soon.
