Tiger Shark Warplane Ceiling Fan looks like a P-40 Warhawk crashed through your roof

When I was a kid, one of my dreams was to become a pilot. I blame the movie Top Gun for most of that desire, but my heart wasn’t necessarily set on an F-14 Tomcat, anything that could fly was good enough for me. Airplane, helicopter, space ship, it really didn’t matter. Naturally, this meant that I had a lot of toys of these various flying vehicles. While these things made me happy, I’d have loved just about anything flying-related in my room, including furniture.

If you have a kid that’s anything like I was, then I would highly recommend checking out this cool Tiger Shark Warplane Ceiling Fan. When I first looked at it, I realized just how brilliant the design was. The fan is designed to look like the nose of an old P-40 fighter, which, if you know your jets, had a three-bladed propeller on it. They captured many of the details of the fighter, right down to the shape and coloring of the blades.

Other than the resemblance to a World War II fighter jet, there really isn’t that much that sets this ceiling fan apart from the rest. IT has a 3-speed motor, and uses a 60-watt candelabra bulb for illuminating your room. The $261 price tag is a rather hefty premium over your standard ceiling fan, but can you really put a price on a child’s happiness?

Since when was a P40 a fighter jet? Heck, since when did a jet have propellers.
