Monkey Light 8-Bit Bike Wheel Light

by

If you have always been the kind of attention seeking person, then the $49.99 Monkey Light 8-Bit Bike Wheel Light might be just the thing for you to tweak your two-wheeled ride. After all, you might not be able to pull off stunts like Johnny Blaze and have the Spirit of Vengeance to come upon you, but at least it will look far better than a regular bike, as the Monkey Light 8-Bit Bike Wheel Light adds patterns to your set of wheels.

There will be 20 different kinds of patterns with a bunch of different color combinations that will definitely set the tone, pardon the pun, for your journey. Do not worry about going through puddles of water or cycling in the rain, since 10 ultra-bright LEDs will come encased in a waterproof housing so that Murphy will not rain on your parade in that department. It has up to 40 hours of runtime, and makes you fall in love with persistence of vision.

Does anyone else struggle to understand why this isn’t powered by the bicycle itself? It’s not new technology to leverage the kinetic energy, either to recharge a built in battery or to power it directly. And with a $50 price tag it seems the production budget could support it.
