TYLT makes a splash at CES 2012

by Mark R

It is going to take me a while before I get CES out of my mind, and one of the coolest booths that I found on the floor is TYLT.

TYLT makes all kinds of mobile accessories, and one of them is the Band, a flat ribbon cable designed for charging a mobile device from the car’s cigarette lighter/outlet. It is available in Micro-USB or Apple 30 pin connector modes, and it has an extra female USB port too.

TYLT also makes some interesting portable battery packs like the PowerPlant and the Zumo. They also make the Energi, a travel charger with a built-in battery. They also have Case Solutions which are cases for the iPhone 4/4S.

Another prized product from TYLT is the Tango, a portable Bluetooth speaker. It allows the user to stream music and audio from movies or games (including phone calls). Also included with the Tango are Dual Drivers and a Passive Radiator, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack for a wired connection. The Tango also has mulitmedia controls so you can control the sound from the speaker itself and not its Bluetooth compatible device.

Unfortunately, not all of these products are available now, but they are “coming to a retail store near you”. It looks like TYLT is planning to be quite a hit, so you might want to pre-order them from the official website here.
