The Stump Portable Tablet Stand
by Mark R
The red thing that you see here in this image is the Stump Portable Tablet Stand. As you can probably tell, it really isn’t much but a place where you can stand a tablet in portrait or landscape mode, and it works just as well with other thin mobile devices.
The Stump Stand has three modes. The first is the Ramp, which is where you can simply set the tablet down for typing and web browsing. Then there is Lean, in which you put the tablet in the notch, perfect for reading an eBook or watching a movie. The Upright position is good for surfing the net, gaming, or an electronic device, and it involves standing the device at a near ninety-degree angle.
You probably can’t tell with the picture, but the size is about 3.5 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches tall. It weighs about 8.5 ounce, but it feels much heavier. It has a non-slip bottom so you can be assured that your device will stay in place, at whatever position you place it at.
You should be able to find the Stump Portable Tablet Stand at the official Stump site for about $24.95 in colors of black, white, green, red, pink, and yellow.
