AT&T introduces Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
If you thought that the Samsung Galaxy S II is a bad boy all by itself, then think again. AT&T ups the ante yet again among smartphone users with their latest release, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. The “Skyrocket” suffix is there for a very good reason – it will be a smartphone that allows you to enjoy fast 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) speeds on your Samsung smartphone.
Hitting stores this coming November 6th, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket will sport a 1.5GHz dual core processor, a 4.5″ SuperAMOLED Plus display at 800 x 480 pixels, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread right out of the box, meaning you need not wait for a software update, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera that is aided by an LED flash, with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot.
Expect to fork out $249.99 for the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket with a two-year commitment, where you obviously need to spend even more each month for data plans that will take advantage of its LTE connectivity.
