BioLite Camp Stove cooks and generates electricity
This BioLite was originally created for developing countries, but in addition to those areas this would come in very handy for hardcore campers and hikers. The main function of this is to function as a very lightweight and efficient little stove. For that it works excellently, but it also can use all of its leftover heat to power up your gadgets.
Now I’m not saying you should use it constantly to text on your phone the entire time you’re out camping. However, it would be great to make sure that your phone stays well powered in the event of an emergency situation. The rocket-stove only weighs 10 ounces and doesn’t require that you carry any fuel with you. It can bring a one liter pan of water to a boil in under 4 minutes. It does all of this by just burning random sticks that you gather along the way. It burns far cleaner than an average wood fire or a petroleum stove too. Once your fire gets up and going, there’s a thermoelectric generator that will run off of the excess heat and spin an electric fan. It separates the wood gas from the burning wood itself and mixes that with oxygen. This comes out sometime during this Spring, and at that point you’ll be able to find out more on how much this would cost.

Your article makes a couple mistakes. First the stove weighs 1 pound 10 ounces and the stove only generates power to run its own fan. There is no way to charge any gadgets with this stove.

With the super handy feature alone… I think it is still a brilliant tool for campers like me. What persuade me more is the easy packing feature and that you don’t have to carry fuel with you for it has the ability to burn almost any solid fuel that you can see around. Isn’t it amazing? I would love to go camping anywhere and anytime having this kind of camp stove.

Wow, a hardcore stove for hardcore campers. This is one of the most important things you need to bring with you when you go camping of course – I tell you, this is essential. Don’t let yourself be hungry in the wild or you will never enjoy that experience. Good review.
