LED table looks absolutely cool
The next time Ikea holds a sale, you might want to hold that purchase off for a while, especially after you have set your eyes on this delectable LED table. Sure, many things have gone the way of LED these days including monitors, but this is one table that will surely capture the imagination and attention of whoever drops by your place, with its effect even more pronounced under soft lighting (or none at all). There is a price to pay for this Ingo Maurer inspired piece of tech-furniture – to the tune of a whopping $23,175. The table itself comprises of a laminated safety glass and metal bits and pieces, with 278 white LEDs within each table top that are capable of emitting light both ways. It is powered by 48 volts DC and relies on an external ballast for the possibility of dimming.
