Leech Plug Unplugs Itself

by Ally

If you’re worried about power being consumed while your A/C adapters are plugged in, this Leech Plug is one solution.  A normal adapter will suck up a little power even when your portable electronics are not being charged.  This plug will actually unplug itself once the device has received a full charge, which would take care of that problem.

The plug was designed by Conor Klein.  It actually looks absolutely boring and doesn’t appear to be even remotely revolutionary.  When in fact it’s very unique.  It mimics the actions of an actual leech.  A leech will take its fill and then drop off and that’s exactly how this device works.  Right now it’s still a concept design, so it’s not something that can be purchased.
