Opera Mini announced for the iPhone

The iPhone will be getting a brand new browser known as the Opera Mini, adding to the over 140,000 apps in the App Store catalog. This makes for an interesting bit of news since Apple has yet to approve a third-party browser, so it looks like a nice challenge is on both Opera’s and Apple’s hands. If you’re interested in checking out just how well the Opera Mini for iPhone will run, make a beeline for Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week in Barcelona. I Love Opera! Since Firefox 3.0 is SO slow now (about the same as IE) I’ve switched to Opera on my PC, its great for dicey 3G connections because of its page loading speed. Opera for the Iphone will probably be great
