Intellisteam from Morphy Richards
by Mark R
I have one of those steam cookers, and I use it a lot. Unfortunately, I only have one of them, so I have to cook my courses one at a time.
With the Morphy Richards Intellisteam, there are three individually controlled heaters which allow for setting different times on these containers. So if you can have fish in one, vegetables in another, and potatoes in the last one for a complete meal for up to four people.
The Moprhy Richards Intellisteam comes with a blue backlit LCD screen as well as a visible water gauge so you can see how much steam you’re giving your cooking. Hopefully, it isn’t too much, or your food will be chewier than it normally is.
Fortunately, the Intellisteam also comes with a 40 minute auto keep-warm function so you won’t overcook something. By the way, you can pre-program your cooking times and even save them in the internal memory for later use.
As an added safety feature, the Intellisteam has a Boil Dry safety cut-out alarm that will sound if the water boils dry. It also has a removable drip tray, and the accessories on top are dishwasher safe.
You should be able to purchase the Morphy Richards Intellisteam for about $160 from the Morphy Richards site for about $160.
