Cydle P29A accompanies you on your travels

Do you do plenty of traveling throughout the year? If the answer is in the affirmative, then you might want to consider getting the new Cydle P29A as your faithful mobile sidekick. Meant to kickstart the budding mobile TV revolution, the Cydle P29A will be introduced formally to public eyes at CES 2010 which is happening next week. Just in case you have not heard about Cydle, they are an emerging leader in car-based multimedia systems and is also one of South Korea’s biggest consumer electronics companies. This multi-functional device boasts a multimedia player and subscription-free Mobile TV to keep you entertained on the road, where we will take a closer look at it in the extended post.

The Cydle P29A will play nice with the P29H device from the same company as well, where it will result in the coupling of a multimedia player with HD Radio Technology. With the Cydle P29A targeting a Q2 2010 release date at an estimated retail price of $199, it will also boast of the distinction of being one of the pioneers in free mobile TV to hit the US market, incorporating the ASTC digital standard for mobile TV technology. Depending on where you stay, channels will vary so you might want to take note of that.

Features of the Cydle P29A media player include a high-resolution 2.9″ touchscreen display, an optimized interface for easy use even for first timers, high quality audio and video playback, a built-in gravity sensor to view in portrait or landscape mode, depending on how the device is orientated, a photo viewer to cycle through your favorite digital memories, a world clock, multiple alarms, a stopwatch, calculator and voice recording capability. Guess you and the family won’t be bored with this on the road – just make sure you juice it up before your travels.
