Lobster Taser – Time to Taser the Lobsters
The lobster taser which looks like a giant lobster panini press or photocopier stuns lobsters with 110 volts that delivers a shock immediately and effectively disabling said lobster’s nervous system. You can then proceed with the boiling, baking, and or grilling. We remain committed to taking out any food we eat humanely, so we look forward to more lobster tasers in the future – maybe even a home model.

Magic wand remote
If you’re bored of the same old TV remote, why not ditch it for this magic wand remote. Use flicks of your wrist to change the channel and big sweeping moves to record your favourite TV show. The wand will learn up to 13 commands from your old remote and you can choose which moves control each command, making your remote un-hijackable! It will also work on your Sky box, stereo or any other infra-red device.

The Double Slanket
Behold- the Double Slanket! Just like the original slanket it’s a blanket with sleeves, but now there’s four of them! Perfect for a nice long romantic evening in front of some weepy film- and you don’t even have to unsnuggle yourselves to eat the chocolate. Light some candles, turn of the lights and let the evening go where it will go. Particularly good for those of us who have partners that have a habit of stealing the covers. No matter how tightly they twist the bottom round their legs you’re not going to be left with just a corner to keep away the chills…

Walkie Talkie Watches
The first thing we thought was “a walkie talkie in a watch? That’ll be poo! It will have no range, eat batteries, have no functions and be seriously fiddly/difficult to use”. So naturally we had to have a closer look. At first glance we were surprised by the size. They are oversized, compared to a Casio watch, but not as much as you might think. The face of the “watch” only measures in at 7 x 6 x 2.5cm and when you consider that the aerial can be folded in and out when needed it is surprisingly small. The next thing we noticed was…

SteriShoe sterilizes and gets rid of shoe odors
SteriShoe may be a product that some might think is taking things too far. However, if you’ve ever worn workboots or know someone that does, I doubt you question that it’d be a great idea for some people. Some of the reason being that you just wish you could get rid of the smell, the other part being that you really do wonder sometimes how much bacteria gets built up inside of a pair of shoes you never wash.

How can you not like the Lobster Taser?! No kitchen should be complete without one!
Phil Says: December 4, 2009 at 11:53 am
I voted for the remote but I have to say that the slanket is a pretty cool idea

Nothing says “badassery in motion” like these walkie talkie watches. $50??? Are you kidding me? THAT’S ALL?! Halt production on the Death Star, Vader – I’ve got to swing my Battleship around to pick up a set of these bad boys. 5km range?? When I was a kid, we were lucky if our overpriced brick sized talkies could reach across a small pond. I’m practically salivating. Now I can contact all of my minions at once. I’d like to shake the hand of the genius who put these out on the market. Sure, I could just use Push-to-talk – but this is way cooler. Revised Retro for teh win!

Wow, is this white elephant week… I’m going to have to go with the ladder. Not very gadget-y but useful.

Magic wand remote got my vote. That’s just silly enough to be cool!

Maybe its my geeky side talking but the walkie talkie watches are awesome. How often in my childhood I played “secret agents” using our watches or fake watches as communication devices. I would even find them useful now, when playing paintball or trying to network a 10 story building.

The ladder. Don’t ask me why…

The ladder is not only cool, but it’s useful and I actually know of someone who has one and uses it everyday.

I love the wand. Thought it would be neat to be the first one to have one, and set it up to use on a friend’s TV. Go visit, then use the wand to control his TV without telling him what it is.
Besides, I’m just a gadget freak…

Too bad not many people vote for Space Saving Air Hockey Table. I actually really like it. It’s great for parties and family game. Only if I live in US and can afford it…

I stopped eating lobster because of the inhumane treatment of it all. I didn’t even know they had something like this until now. Everything else here is a bit of a luxury, but I pick the lobster taser because every restaurant should own one.

The best gadget is the wand. Because it learns up to 13 different controls, it is completely unique for a universal remote. And the market for it is MASSIVE! so many nerds….
Jessica Says: December 18, 2009 at 8:46 am
Clearly, the coolest gadget is the magic remote.

Walkie Talkie Watches! This’d be great for communicating with a hunting partner on a different stand. Also, I’m a triathlete, so it’d also be useful to communicate with a friend during a race. Good fun!
