Digital Video Memo

Digital Video Memo

The Digital Video Memo is the future in leaving people messages no more using mass amounts of paper and scribbling down notes. You can now talk into the Digital Video Memo and leave someone a 30 second video message reminding them to do something or maybe just telling them to have a lovely day at work. This is very simple to use and it won’t have you reaching for the instructions everytime you want use it. The Digital Video Memo might make a very handy Christmas stocking filler gift for someone who has a busy lifestyle and likes to be reminded of what they need to do on a certain day. It is also magnetic which means you can display it easily on the fridge so everyone can see it clearly.

The LightSleeper - For a Good, Heavy Sleep

The LightSleeper – For a Good, Heavy Sleep

Following her own suffering with insomnia, designer Kate Evans has created what is essentially a mini light projector which beams a soothing light onto your ceiling. The light then makes circles above you, the idea being that as your eyes follow the projection you gradually slip off to sleep. Whereas something like reading would stimulate the mind and thus keep you asleep, the LightSleeper relaxes you almost hypnotically. It takes under a minute to get it working, and it can be turned on with a tap (great if you wake up in the middle of the night with uber brain fuzz) and automatically switches off after half an hour which means its energy efficient too.

The transparent toaster is the coolest gadget of the week. It seems like a completely fun gadget with little need but is actually quite good for impatient bagel toasting….

The sunglasses are kind of James Bondy.

Skippy Says: November 20, 2009 at 12:53 pm

Who doesn’t need a pair of self defense sunglasses? Almost sounds as if they’re doing the defending for you.

The toaster looks very good.

Drew Says: November 20, 2009 at 6:20 pm

Bombproof wallpaper. At least that had some kind of real demonstration. Come on! The sunglasses? “The lenses will not shatter if struck with a 3″ object traveling at the speed of 106mph!” – No, but your face will! And frankly, I’m tired of seeing this glass toaster. It’s been what two years since that concept was released? Seems like it at least, and it’s still just a concept. Lets see some gadgets I can USE! ;P

I am constantly burning my bagels! Three or 4 out of every dozen bagels I buy wind up burned beyond recognition, smoldering in the trash bin.

Kevin Says: November 21, 2009 at 5:00 pm

The “World’s First Bombproof Wallpaper” is so cool..

Neagle Says: November 22, 2009 at 10:22 am

I have to vote for the wallpaper. If it prevents one act of terror from killing someone it I would say the inventor’s time was well spent.

Mug That Stirs Your Drink at the Press of a Button: i think that this is a cool gadget cause people can drink their coffee nicely stired

samiya Says: November 26, 2009 at 10:21 am

The ultra-sonic stain cleaner, is the best gadget, simply because it saves water, and that means we are saving our environment, this is helping our mother earth, as there is a shortage of water in america, and other countries. And we do not need hardly any water with this gadget, also it saves on elbow grease, it is good for young and old, especially the elderly, and people that have a disability. So thank you, to whom invented this, and a thousand smiles from me.
Kind Regards,
samiya
