Acer Aspire 5738DG announced
by Edwin in PC Gadgets
Acer recently made the world sit up and take notice of its latest Aspire 5738DG notebook that boasts 3D viewing technology – yep, you read that right – 3D viewing technology, to bring a whole new world of working with your portable machine. The Acer Aspire 5738DG is capable of delivering cinematic quality images that virtually pop out from the screen without sacrificing on performance and productivity features that people have come to expect from a desktop replacement notebook. This Windows 7 Home Premium powered notebook will be priced from $799 upwards, and is already available to retailers if you’re looking for an upgrade to a newer machine. We’ll take a closer look at the 3D viewing technology after the jump.
The Aspire 5738DG comes with the special TriDef 3D solution that comprises of a 3D display, software and glasses which will enable vibrant 3D visuals. While this means that you will still need to wear a pair of rather dorky looking glasses (show me a really cool 3D glass to date), but then again if you’ve already made up your mind to purchase this notebook, you won’t need to worry about whether your geek cred has gone up or not. 3D content is a snap for the Aspire 5738DG to handle, where it is also able to turn ordinary 2D content into a vivid 3D experience. This makes it a snap for customers to switch from a standard viewing mode to 3D with but a click of the mouse. Nice to know that Acer has made the TriDef solution include a simple and intuitive interface for easy 3D multimedia without the need for a dedicated graphics card.
Features of the Acer Aspire 5738DG include :-
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor T6600 (2 MB L2 cache, 2.2GHz, 800 MHz FSB)

October 27th, 2009 at 11:56 pmHey nice blog…thanks for the information… There are many that will swear by their Acer laptop computers and this is amply evident when you come across a great many advertisements expounding on the virtues of such laptops. Moreover, it is not such a good idea to go by advertising claims alone and it is also necessary to first check out different manufacturers and sees what’s on offer before making a considered decision. It should give you peace of mind that Acer is a worldwide company and it is known for providing practical and first-rate solutions for the marketplace. I recently came across one of the Acer products, Acer 5738 and really stunned by its specifications and performance. It has an and the sound quality is amazing. I think, where Acer scores over other laptops is more value for money.
