Any lighting that does not rely on the electricity grid is a bonus in my opinion. I am amazed that new homes continue to be built without solar being the choice of energy storage.

I just ordered 4 of them off from amazon.com they were 15 bucks each. Not a bad lantern at all. Not sure how long the battery will last though. Has a little 4 pack battery encased in a blue rubbery thing.
